Ridgewood Cafe Reviews
Just in town for a night and found this little gem. Excellent food, the service was fabulous. We had the burger, which was phenomenal. Asparagus soup was delicious. Salmon was very good. Salad was fresh.
We ordered pretzels with Guineas beer cheese, and two burgers - the traditional and the Ridgewood. The pretzels, the burgers, the fries - phenomenal. Just perfect. Service was fantastic. The decor and cozy atmosphere make for a great place to spend some time.
Great breakfast! Service was quick and they were packed. Always an enjoyable meal there.
Food is always great and the staff is kind and helpful. Also love the homey atmosphere.
I had the walleye meal & some delicious onion soup last night. We sat out in the atrium (?), which warm but quite nice. Brandy is an excellent server & very friendly. Certainly a nice place to eat with friends.
Haven't been at this restaurant for several years. Used to join coworkers at lunch and it was an easy spot to get a quick lunch, prices were reasonable. Going in recently I noticed it's had some updates and it's still a nice environment. There are still a lot of regular customers it seemed. Friendly with staff and seemed comfortable. It was for us too. The after lunch prices might be a little elevated , sirloin steak upward near $30 but the food was good and sandwiches were reasonable. Great relaxed atmosphere, decent food and friendly staff will keep them as a choice for our next meal out.
A cozy rustic cafe serving upscale food. This is the true definition of Gastropub. One year ago, my hubby and I came upon this little gem during one of our adventure Saturdays. We were very impressed with the Cuban and Cheesesteak sandwiches. This time we ordered the Red and White Sangrias, the Texas Logs, hand breaded Button Mushrooms, Chicken Salad Wrap, Chicken Club with fries and homemade chips. They were out of the Texas logs so we subbed out for cheese curds. The cheese curds were good but not the best I've had... but that is the only thing that we ordered that did not "wow" us. The mushrooms are fabulous! Lightly handbreaded and the biggest button mushrooms! Our server was fabulous! She was attentive and friendly. The bathroom is a single and is very clean and also decorated in the rustic theme. So...I have to say I'm thrilled to be able to post a four-star review. It remains on our top 10 list... And we'll be back. The only reason it was four stars and not five is I really wanted the Texas logs and the cheese curds, although good, didn't have the wow factor.
Amazing food. The cook makes everything from scratch and we've never had anything we didn't love. Very friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. We love it!
Very nice place, sharp decor and excellent service. My friend had the ultimate Cobb salad and I had a bowl of the 3 bean chili as we had a large lunch earlier at a party. Lots of other choices but we decided to go light. Both were well prepared and quite good. Next time in the area, this is a good choice.
we ate here for the first time tonight. My husband's a meat eater and I'm a vegetarian. We both absolutely loved the food. The service was excellent! We will definitely be coming back.
